Chapter 1: God is Preparing His Bride

God is preparing His “bride” — His “called out ones” — for the wedding banquet of His Son, our Lord and Bridegroom, Jesus.

It is a feast that will take place just before the great judgments of God.

The day is coming… in our lifetime!  Some will be taken, but many will remain to suffer God’s wrath. Jesus tells us:

“…pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen.”

Luke 21:36

Have you met the risen Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you surrendered your life completely to His Lordship?

If not, I invite you to do so in the quiet of your own heart… it’s a step of faith that everyone must embrace in order to be found worthy in the eyes of God.

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.

For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent Me.

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day.

For My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:35, 38-40

If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life, or if you have never fully surrendered your life to Him, I invite you to do so this very moment. The Scriptures tell us:

“Now is the appointed time of salvation.”

II Corinthians 6:2

Jesus says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.”

Revelation 3:20

If you ask Jesus to be Lord of your life and confess that He is your Savior and commit all you ways to Him, you shall be saved.  You will know the gift of His forgiving your sins, and you will know the joy of His indwelling presence.

Just pray this prayer with your heart and Jesus will overwhelm you with His joy and His presence!

“Dear Jesus, forgive me.  I believe You are the risen Son of God and that You gave Your life for me by dying on a cross.  I believe You paid the price for my sinful, unbelieving heart.

I confess that I am a sinner and ask You to forgive me for all I have done that is wrong in the eyes of the Father.

I surrender my life to You – I give You ALL of my life!  Open my eyes and fill me with the Holy Spirit…pour into me the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Help me know God’s will for my life and give me the strength and courage to consume Your Words and live a righteous life.  I know that for this I was born; for this I will live.”

“Thank You, Father, for hearing my prayer.  Thank You for Your loving patience.  Thank You for giving me a new life and the promise of eternity with Jesus.  In the precious name of Jesus, I pray.”

God is preparing a joyful bride

The Lord is preparing a glorious, Spirit-filled “bride” who is overcoming the traditions of man and the walls of religion.

She will have a childlike spirit, and the world will stand in awe. And those who oppose her will suffer God’s punishment.

God is also preparing a place to prepare and unite His bride before His return. He has promised it in His Word.

“And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before Me, and I will punish all that oppress them.”

Jeremiah 30:19-20

“Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin (bride) of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tebrets (tambourines), and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.”

Jeremiah 31:4

God said it in His Word. Do you think He didn’t mean it? Do you think He forgot what He said?

You can trust His Word, beloved; you don’t have to be afraid of the extraordinary excitement and joy that is coming upon the Church.

God has foretold of the day and even described the events that will take place. Don’t be afraid, and don’t let your pride or your dignity keep you from entering into the bounty of the blessings.

It is the enemy of your soul who tells you that you are too dignified, too mature, too intelligent to be so “childlike.”

We are preparing for our wedding

Do you realize the Father has been preparing a wedding banquet for His Son for 2,000 years! He is preparing a glorious bride – a bride wearing garments without spot or wrinkle. God is preparing a bride for His Son. The “bride” is the “last days” church.

Consider how carefully we plan for our weddings. Everything has to be just perfect. Do you think the Father would expect anything less for Jesus? Of course not.

He is preparing a beautiful, surrendered, loving bride. The Holy Spirit is helping us get ready. He is showing us the pride and dignity which keep us from being completely in love with Jesus; keep us from entering into the wedding feast; keep us from entering the Kingdom of God; keep us on the sidelines while “the children” – the childlike – go right on in.

“Then shall the virgin (the bride) rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.”

Jeremiah 31:13

“Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of saints. Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.

For the Lord taketh pleasure in His people: He will beautify (crown) the meek (humble) with salvation.”

Psalm 149:1, 3

The truth is when the fullness of God’s presence comes upon you – you become a child again in the Spirit… and it glorifies the Father! Remember what Jesus said about the children?

“Suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the Kingdom of God.

Verily I say unto you, ‘Whoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.’”

Luke 18:16, 17

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear.

Then the angel said to me, ‘Write: blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’”

Revelation 19:7-9

Many churches are now experiencing the awakening of souls through a move of the Holy Spirit. People are experiencing the presence of God and coming under great conviction and repentance. Many are surrendering “self” and experiencing the fullness, infilling and baptism of the Holy Spirit; they are entering the Kingdom of God.

This is our great awakening and the beginning of the bridal preparation. The bride is coming into her completeness, we will glorify the Lord with our whole collective being.

The “last days” church – His “called out ones” — will glorify the Lord in praise and worship and dance!
